Fr. Owen Kearns, LC, comtemplates leaving?

It is rumored that Fr. Owen Kearns, director of National Catholic Register and staunch defender of pedophile Legion founder, Fr. Marcial Maciel, is considering quitting. The rumor surfaces after confidential information was leaked by female members of the Regnum Christi, the Legion's females branch where many LC priests are spiritual directors and confidants of the wives of American Catholics Rich and Famous.

Sources close to the Legion are suggesting that some prominent Legionaries are uncomfortable being under Vatican scrutiny for secret homosexual and pedophile activities.

Fr. Jonathan Morris Leaves Legion

Where is the erstwhile Legion poster priest?

He has FLOWN THE COOP

UPDATE! September 16, 2009
I may stand corrected. I am informed that Fr. Morris staunchly defends the Legion and states he has not left; he is simply taking some time off. Naive poster wonders:
Will he be interviewed by Vatican Visitator?
What made him leave his religious community instead of staying like a loyal member? But he is loyal; he does not doubt the Legion...

Are you aware of the fact that Fr. Jonathan Morris is currently on sabbatical in the NY diocese under Dolan and is currently working for the diocese and writing a book?

When Fr. Maciel's "Christ is my Life" was a bestseller

When Fr. Maciel's autobiography "Christ is my Life" was a bestseller

The title was clearly inspired by the Pauline phrase "For me to live is Christ", which Fr. Maciel had meditated on long and hard -sometimes when he was long and hard- and he liked the ring of that phrase. According to his autobiograpy, or interviews given to Regnum Christi member independent reporters, or the collection of lapidary phrases from Fr. Maciel's 1.5 million dollar letters, Cartas de Nuestro Padre, made to appear like answers in an interview, Fr. Maciel had assimilated the Pauline expression into his daily life, into his bloodstream, into the marrow of his bones...

Heil Maciel!
